On 23 April of 1616 Shakespered died and on 23 April of 2016 we celebrated his 400 birthday. He died the same day of his birth. The celebration offer visit his house in Stratford-upon-Avon.

William Hakespeare was born in 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, a town in central England. The father of William was an important person in Stratford. William went to the Grammar School in Stratford.

He married in 1582 with Anne Hathaway.They got marry when he was 18 and she was 26, eight years old than him. They had two daughters and one boy, Susanna, Judith and Hamnet. the boy died when he was only eleven years old.

The globe was the theatre where Shakespeare represented some of his works. The spectators could enter and see the play, for just one penny, or they could pay more money to sit down. There was a theatre for nearly 2000 people.

He did a lot of fantastic plays but his most famous plays is the tragedi of Romeo and Juliet. His plays in the next five years were A Midsummer's Night's Dream and The Merchant of Venice.

The theatre where Shakespeare did his shows had to close because of the plague. The small place where Shakespere showed his plays was a small place and the small places were dangerous with the plague.

The year 1595 is important because when the theatres opened again, Shakespeare wrote Romeo and Juliet.
It was his most important play and live on in the future. The death scene is a favourite subject with artists.
