Usain Bolt competed for the final time in his native
Jamaica on Saturday night, winning the 100 meters at the Salute to a Legend
race at Kingston's National Stadium. It was an emotional
victory lap in front of his adoring fans.
Bolt easily topped the field with a time of 10:03.
Following the race, the skies above the stadium lit
up with a fireworks display. Bolt says he plans to end his career at the world
championships in London in August.
Bolt
may not have been too happy with possibly one of my worst races but was more
concerned with staying injury free and putting on a show for the crowd t o show
them that he’s thankful for the support over the years.
My opinion
Usain
Bolt is an Olympic legend who has been called “the fastest man alive” for
his records. So I think he’s the best runner over the world and he’s a good
person because he thinks about his country and about everyone who applies him.
I’m sad because he is going to finish his sportive career so he just has shown
a lot to us.
